I’ve been thinking about individuality lately. We’re all very, very different from each other. It’s amazing, really. There’s not a single other person on this planet who looks exactly like you. No one. Sure, there are look-alikes, but no exact copy. And not only do you not look like anyone, but you don’t act, feel, or respond like anyone, either.

This idea reminds me of my fiancé who has four brothers. All five boys come from the same parents, and were raised the same way, but each one looks so different from the others, and each has his own distinct personality. How does that even work? Again, it amazes me.

This past week I posted a story on Facebook about President Obama. The story shows a picture of him receiving a very unique-looking name plate during his visit to a manufacturing plant. President Obama has his own set of unique characteristics, and so does that name plate.
