Subscribe to Name Tag Experience
We offer two easy ways for our readers to stay up-to-date on our latest experiences and news:
1) RSS Feed
2) Email Subscription
Subscribing via RSS Feed:
- What is RSS?
RSS stands for Real Simple Syndication. Basically, it is an easy way for websites/blogs to provide information, news, and updates in an easy and effective manner.
- Why Use RSS?
As more and more web sites and blogs are added to the Internet, it has become increasingly more time consuming to visit every website you enjoy. Instead of visiting each individual website, a RSS feed allows you to easily view one source to see which of the websites you follow have been updated.
Each RSS feed will also provide you with a brief summary of each update, so you can easily browse through your customized list to see which entries are worth further reading.
- How Do I Use RSS?
Name Tag Experience provides a RSS feed that automatically gathers and presents our latest entries, all you have to do is subscribe!
There are a variety of feed readers (programs that allow you to add, sort and display RSS feeds) but this guide will show you how to easy add our feed to Google’s free RSS reader (Google Reader).
If you already have a Google account set up (services like Gmail, Docs, Blogger, Adwords require an account) you’re set – otherwise, it is easy and free to sign up for a Google Account.
- Adding our RSS Feed through Google Reader
That’s it! Now anytime you log into Google and check Google Reader, the Name Tag Experience Feed will be automatically updated with the latest entries. You can also easily add other RSS feeds to your Google Reader account – so instead of checking multiple websites, you can now log into your Google account and check all of your feeds for the latest updates.
Subscribing via Email
For those who prefer to receive updates via email, we’ve also added the option for you to receive an email from us every time we add a new blog entry.
If you ever decide to unsubscribe from the email list, you can easily do so by clicking on the unsubscribe link included in the email.
