Subscribe to Name Tag Experience

We offer two easy ways for our readers to stay up-to-date on our latest experiences and news:

1) RSS Feed
2) Email Subscription

Subscribing via RSS Feed:

- What is RSS?

RSS stands for Real Simple Syndication. Basically, it is an easy way for websites/blogs to provide information, news, and updates in an easy and effective manner.

- Why Use RSS?

As more and more web sites and blogs are added to the Internet, it has become increasingly more time consuming to visit every website you enjoy. Instead of visiting each individual website, a RSS feed allows you to easily view one source to see which of the websites you follow have been updated.

Each RSS feed will also provide you with a brief summary of each update, so you can easily browse through your customized list to see which entries are worth further reading.

- How Do I Use RSS?

Name Tag Experience provides a RSS feed that automatically gathers and presents our latest entries, all you have to do is subscribe!

There are a variety of feed readers (programs that allow you to add, sort and display RSS feeds) but this guide will show you how to easy add our feed to Google’s free RSS reader (Google Reader).

If you already have a Google account set up (services like Gmail, Docs, Blogger, Adwords require an account) you’re set – otherwise, it is easy and free to sign up for a Google Account.

- Adding our RSS Feed through Google Reader

RSS Feed  Step 1: Click on the image to subscribe to the Name Tag Experience Feed!
Step 2: Select Google as your RSS Feed Reader.
Step 3: You have the option of adding the RSS feed to Google Reader or to your iGoogle Homepage – for now select Google Reader.
Step 4: Voilà! Google Reader now has our feed, organized by the newest entry first, front and center for you to easily browse through. Located in the bottom left corner is a running list of all your subscriptions – you can easily add additional feed subscriptions and the number in the parenthesis is the number of new entries since you’ve last visited that particular feed (10 in this instance) – making it extremely easy to quick view which feeds have been recently updated.
Optional: If you decide to add our feed directly to your iGoogle homepage (other option in Step 3), it will appear along with all the other widgets you’ve setup for your page. Click on the + icon to open up additional information about each post.

That’s it! Now anytime you log into Google and check Google Reader, the Name Tag Experience Feed will be automatically updated with the latest entries. You can also easily add other RSS feeds to your Google Reader account – so instead of checking multiple websites, you can now log into your Google account and check all of your feeds for the latest updates.

Subscribing via Email

For those who prefer to receive updates via email, we’ve also added the option for you to receive an email from us every time we add a new blog entry.

Email Subscription   Simply click on the email icon and enter your email address. Feedburner (our RSS Feed provider) will send you an email to verify your subscription. Click the verification link in the email and that’s it, you’re done! Now you’ll always be up-to-date on everything name tag related.

If you ever decide to unsubscribe from the email list, you can easily do so by clicking on the unsubscribe link included in the email.
