As previously promised in our last new product announcement (Metal Name Plates) we have officially launched the second of the two planned name plate additions, the Reusable Name Plates.

reusable name plates

The Reusable Name Plate product consists of 4 parts: a colored metal back plate (gold, silver or white), a clear Lexan Slider, a replaceable insert and a wall mount or desk holder to hold it all together. Available in a 2 x 8 or a 2 x 10 inch variation, these name plates provide a professional, yet affordable solution for companies that may have a high rate of employee turnover.

Instead of ordering an engraved name plate for every new employee, simply print an insert and swap out the old name with the new one. To make things even easier and to keep the branding consistent between all departments/branches, you can even have your logo pre-printed on the metal back plate.

Fast, simple and inexpensive – the Reusable Name Plates are an excellent blend of functionality and value. Click here for more information.

Personalized Ribbons We are thrilled to announce the relaunching of our ribbon-only website, Personalized Ribbons.com. In the work for more than a year, we’ve incorporated the feedback suggested by our customers to completely revamp the design, functionality and navigation of the website. Organized by ‘occasion’ or ‘product type’ we now offer two different ways for our customers to find what they are looking for. And with a newly updated production schedule, you can now get your Custom Imprinted Ribbons faster than ever.

While we are excited with the relaunch, it won’t be a one-time thing… on the contrary, this relaunch is the first phase of a 3 step process, which will see the addition of more products, resources and web 2.0 integration. Ribbon items such as Continuous Ribbon Rolls and more in-stock ribbon options, customer/expert recommendations, as well as the integration of Facebook, Youtube and Twitter are all planned to be phased in throughout the year, so be sure to check back often!

To celebrate this event, we will be holding two special contests for our wonderful customers. The first is a $100.00 Stock Ribbon and Badge Holder Prize and the second is a $100.00 Custom Imprinted Ribbon Prize. To enter both contests, simply ‘like’ our new Personalized Ribbons Facebook page and subscribe to our Personalized Ribbon newsletter. Both resources will provide subscriber-only content, giveaways/prizes and special promotions—so join them both and never miss out on any ribbon deals!

As one final token of appreciation, we will be running a limited-time, no small order fee promotion, for all of our Imprinted and Full Color Printed Ribbons… a $7.50 value—FREE.

Order online at: http://www.personalized-ribbons.com or give us a call at 1-866-935-5350 to speak to a live customer service representative. Take advantage of this special promotion now and get all of your ribbon needs taken care of today!

Our most recent contest, “Ring in the New Year” was a very exciting experience. At length, there emerged a clear victor whose name tags possessed a unique blend of tactful creativity and utilitarian charm. Sharon Doty’s name tag submission, which was made in behalf of the Barrington Area Library, perfectly captured the essence of our contest and earned the advertised $50 Amazon.com gift card grand prize. I had the pleasure of interviewing Sharon and wanted to share with everyone the contents of the interview. Enjoy!

Please tell a little bit about the Barrington Area Library.

We are a northwest suburb of Chicago located almost equidistant between Chicago and Milwaukee. (We’re slightly closer to Chicago, but it’s faster to get to Milwaukee.) We serve about 32,500 patrons and check out over a million library items in a year. The most famous person to live in our library district was Sweetness himself, Walter Payton, who lived in South Barrington. We are the largest geographic library district in the state of Illinois covering 72 square miles.
