Name Tag Experience

We at An Infinite Mind want to give a HUGE thank you to Name Tag Inc for supporting our 2nd annual Healing Together conference with a donation of lanyards and ribbons. This year, we had 168 attendees from across the country and world. The conference was profoundly successful; changing lives, families, and helping the journey down the road to recovery from trauma and abuse. We couldn’t have done it with out guys! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We had a very successful event attended by 80 high school students and over 100 adult community members.  We viewed the film “What Makes Me White?” by Aimee Sands.  Check out this link to view clip

Following the film, we had a robust and thought provoking discussion about racism.  Several high school students felt that racism is over and that by talking about it we are causing more problems.  There is a challenge in discussing racism in an almost all white community.
