A stock name tag we made for Friends of Cats.

I’m thrilled to spotlight another great customer of Name Tag, Inc., Friends of Cats! I want to thank Shelter Manager Janet Bianchini for allowing us to recognize the non-profit organization.

Bianchini first provided a general overview of Friends of Cats.

“Friends of Cats is a no-kill shelter for cats located in El Cajon, California, and is incorporated as a tax exempt, non-profit organization under IRS rule 501(c)(3). Founded in 1929, we are dedicated to providing shelter and medical care to abandoned cats and those whose owners are unable to care for them. Once their health is assured, we try to find them good homes. We do not euthanize, except as a matter of compassion if a cat is fatally ill or suffering. From newborn kittens to older resident cats living out their lives, as well as an ever-changing population of adoptable cats, the Shelter houses approximately 300 cats at any given time.

Friends of Cats is supported solely through memberships, revenues from adoptions and relinquishments, donations, fund-raising activities, grants, and legacies,” she said.

Friends of Cats ordered stock name tags to provide easy identification of the staff for any visitors coming to the shelter.

Bianchini spoke highly of the name tags.

“[They're] durable and well made. Staff excited to have their own personalized name tag!”

With the plan to order more in the future for new staff and for any necessary replacements, Bianchini described Friends of Cats using these three simple words, “We save cats!”

As a animal admirer myself, I’m certainly glad that there are organizations like Friends of Cats providing safety and care for furry felines and more.
