Start! Heart Walk & Run
Unfortunately, too many of us have a loved one affected by heart disease or stroke. To help stop this, the American Heart Association will be having their annual Start! Heart Walk & Run in Salt Lake City, Utah on September 12th, 2009 beginning at 7:30am at Sugar House Park. This event raises funds that are needed for critical heart disease and stroke research and education.
We have a whole morning full of heart-healthy exhibits, entertainment, free health screenings, and a whole area dedicated to kids! Bring your kids out to join the 1-Mile Happy Feet Kids Run. The Kids Zone will have blow-ups for the kids to play on, face painting, karate and dance activities, arts and crafts and so much more! So bring the whole family out and help us fight our nation’s No. 1 and No. 3 killers, heart disease and stroke.
FREE: Walkers and attendees $25 registration fee for RUNNERS.
